The very thought of creating a blog and blogs in general.. To keep people entertained in my writing is a challenge, well accepted.. And to hope I succeed. People write blogs all over the world for different reasons; for entertainment, to educate others, for fun, and to even share their life joys. Maybe even make money along the way, in blog writing. But I think blogs can be interesting, but also uneventful sometimes. My opinion to this is that: I feel that in a blog you must catch a readers' attention or the person won't feel the need to read or bother to keep reading. In eighth grade going into high school I tried to make a blog once. I set up an account, but I didn't really know how they worked back then or even what to post about. I ended up not liking blogs at all because of that experience. I found that it was like Tumblr, only Tumblr was a little easier to use and better, because I would just post a picture and a title. I realized now, they're much alike, in that Tumblr consists of blogs/posting blogs. So, I can say I don't truly have a hate for blogs or blogging. I guess I just never really knew the meaning of the word blog. Blogs make up half the internet world, and the world is pretty much all synced to it. With that being said, I like to look at blogs that have to do with families, recipes, movie entertainment, actors/musicians, or even blogs that promote positive readings about success, because I think they're more intriguing. I read blogs from HUFFPOST, Best LGBT Weblog, and from Lifehack. I love the one about Living With Pride in Trump's America. I loved it because I can relate and the minority can too. Especially; the LGBT, and anyone else that doesn't fit on Trumps or America's standards. I'm reacting to this, because I feel people shouldn't have to hide or worry about what might happen to them, because who they are or who they love. I also found the Lifehack stories on how people became successful from nothing to making money inspiring. For example, one of the successful people listed in the blog, was Gary Vaynerchuk. One of my goals in life, is to become very successful. So, whenever I see or read about someone and their life journeys and how they became successful themselves, it helps and it's encouraging to me. It makes me push myself even more to my dreams and what I want to accomplish in life. I didn't like Real Simple, only because the blog website didn't have anything posted that caught my attention. It talked about Pinterest mainly, and I don't usually go on Pinterest. What're some of your favorite blog readings?

Altogether bot bad but the font style is hard on the eyes haha.
ReplyDeleteI like the red and white of your text for your blog. I also love how you talk about your experiences with blogs. The only thing I didn't like about your blog is the fact you didn't put any photos in your blog to help us paint that picture in are heads
ReplyDeleteI like the way you set up your blogs and the background. However, the font style and the color is kind of hard for me to read but it's fine because It looks nice haha. Also, I think I have a same experience about blog as you :))
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to read with the white highlight in the background. Missing some pictures. Blogging is time consuming.
ReplyDeleteAs for your response to my hyperlinking comment in the previous post, in this post when you mention Huffington Post or Lifehack, for example, highlight those words and link the URL directly to the names of the blogs you are discussing. This integrate the links into the text of your writing and streamlines the post visually as well as making the links easily accessible to your reader.
ReplyDeleteIt seems your peers have also given you some thoughtful feedback on the design and delivery of your post here as well.
Now that you know the in and out of blogging how do you like it?
